Hi I am developing www.kiongozimuziki.com, which will be an awesome user driven platform/environment handling information and tickets for arts and culture across East Africa - currently in the Beta version we are expecting to go live in a month - So we need to engage with some serious investors - Who are the other accelerators out there and what is the story with 88mph? seem to be closed for startup projects?

ihub is an open initiative. Anyone can join. Kindly vet developers before hiring them.

you cant trust some profiles that much, please ask for their github accounts and preview their projects before hiring them. ihub cannot take the blame for that.

That would be nice, but at times even though new developers seek jobs, you should take a step of demanding a solid portfolio from developers.

Sites like odesk have tests and once you pass, the qualification is reflected on your profile. Without taking those tests, no one will hire you. I think ihub should do the same, if you are a PHP or Java expert, then prove it if you want to get a job.
