Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding part-time web designer to be responsible for developing innovative, interactive websites.

The web designer will work closely with the project manager and the design team, develop, test and deliver web sites, applications and components.


·  Work closely with the Project to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

·  The developer will assist to design, develop, test and deliver web sites and applications on a part-time basis.

·  Determine appropriate website architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations.

·  Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.

·  Flexibility and the willingness to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines

·  Develop websites on content management

·  Develop CSS, HTML 5 concepts and convert them to usable website templates

Required Skills

·  Must have practical experience in PHP, MYSQL, graphics creation with Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop or equivalent application(s)

·  Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field or significant equivalent experience required

·  Self motivated and can work effectively as a member of a team

·  Meets expectations and project deliverables on time

·  Experience developing and implementing open source software projects

·  Self-starter with strong self-management skills

·  Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

·  Adaptability to quickly changing situations
