About: We are seeking a highly customer focused individual to join a team of highly talented professionals providing world class technical expertise to our customers in the deployment, management and day-to-day administration and management of security solutions (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, etc). This position requires strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. The qualified candidate possesses a strong knowledge of networking and network security concepts, and broad experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations in a professional, timely, and thorough manner. Qualified candidates are strong communicators, self-starters, and highly-motivated to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: This is a position responsible for the various roles within the deployment, management, and day-to-day administration and various security solutions involving SIEM, VM, IDS/IPS’, and Endpoint security services for Enterprise and Large Enterprise customers. • Perform in installation teams rolling out security solutions to clients in the Financial, Telecommunications, and Aviation sectors Act as Tier 2 level response, providing outstanding advanced technical customer support • Consistently model the highest levels of support orientation and professionalism in order to deliver high quality services to delighted customers • Resolve high level technical issues that are reoccurring or affect multiple customers • Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings and technologies, current support policies, and methods of support delivery • Follow-up with customers on all open tickets to ensure timely resolution of requests and high levels of customer satisfaction • Respond to incident handling, incident response, and escalation management • Assist in the tracking and resolving of service delivery issues • Provide recommendations for improving existing processes and procedures • Document best practices and knowledge base articles • Execute assigned projects • Must be flexible to work occasional outside hours weekend rotational shifts Requirements/Qualifications • 3-5+ years technical expertise in an operations center environment (preferably NOC or SOC) administering security technologies • Hands-on expertise in day-to-day administration and management of technical security solutions, including firewalls, VPN’s, IDS/IPS’, and various technologies • Proficient with one or more of the following: Cisco IDS/IDSM/SSM, Snort, GFI Languard, Sourcefire Sensor and Defense Center, Windows Server configuration, Linux/Unix server configuration, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec SIM, Control Compliance Suite. • Working knowledge of networking concepts and VPN solutions • Working knowledge of network security products and the threat and security landscape • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to be dynamic and adapt in order to solve complex technical issues with customers and partners • Proven customer service ability and interpersonal skills • Consistently model the highest levels of teamwork and professionalism • Highly motivated, strong team player • Comfortable managing multiple, high-priority issues simultaneously • Strong decision-making ability • Strong oral and written communication skills • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • At least one required: CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CCNP FIREWALL, CCNP VPN, CCNP IPS, CCSP, CCSA, CCSE, SEP, SSIM, SFCP, SFCA • Coding experience would be preferential
