Job Description

Simple Alliance a top Digital Agency is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Digital PR and Social Media Analyst to join our newly developed Outreach team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Come up with topic ideas for blog posts
  • Conduct research for blog posts, including reading other blogs, interviews, asking questions on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn
  • Write a minimum of 5-7 blog posts per day for posting as guest posts on our site and other websites
  • Work with other website owners to determine timing and content for guest blog posts
  • Comment on other blog posts to increase website visibility
  • Be active in forums such as Yahoo Answers, LinkedIn Q&A, Quora and others
  • Develop relationships with key target bloggers, website owners and journalists
  • Maintain press and media contact database
  • Identify opportunities for content that will generate interest and coverage for our clients
  • Organise and oversee production of content
  • Identify opportunities for content that will generate links and/or Word of Mouth (WoM) coverage for our clients (depending on campaign objectives)
  • Research into strong story/PR ideas
  • Clearly communicate with clients for approval/feedback
  • Successfully distribute content, demonstrating clear campaign results
  • Other Projects as needed

Skills Required:                           

  • Multi- tasking, organised and able to manage 3-5 client websites at a time
  • Passionate about blogging and writing
  • Friendly and conversational
  • Must be a good writer, team player and technologically savvy
  • Experience or demonstrate knowledge working in at least one or more of the following areas:
    • Online PR (e-press releasing, ensuring press releases issued are newsworthy, content placement and distribution)
    • Social Media (video platforms, social networks, blogs or community management)
    • SEO (can demonstrate content-driven strategies to promote client websites)
  • Experience in running competitions, giveaways, promotions and events is a bonus but not essential.
  • The right candidate will have a passion for all things digital and have an active digital life through different social media platforms.
  • A basic understanding of SEO and the role of link building in website promotion will also be beneficial.
