The role will initially require about 5 hours per week which can be done remotely and online. However a response time of less than an hour is expected for all communications, though responding with an estimate of when a response will be provided is satisfactory. On s expected hiring of up to 50 or so employees in the next few months the role will become full-time.
The program management aspect of the role entails helping to manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects. Within each project the project management aspect entails helping to prioritize and assign tasks, identify road blocks, and call meetings as required to coordinate resources (with the executive team if need be) in order to remove those road blocks. In addition the project manager will organize and manage the meeting minutes, design documents, and other documents produced as artifacts from each of these activities using the suite of online tools in Microsoft Project Pro for Office 365.
The project manager will also identify the need for new resources and until an HR manager is hired may take charge of finding and hiring them.
