After opening its doors for the first time last year to a resounding success, Plugged Digital
Expo is back this year!
2011 saw the Plugged Digital Expo expose a number of innovations and Innovators to Government Agencies, corporate institutions, funding organisations and consumers.
On display in 2011 were different innovations from touch screens kiosks and home grown flight consoles to mobile apps that let you control the security of your house, innovative apps that give a farmer all the information necessary such as where to buy seed, best planting season, weather patterns of an area and even seasons and markets to sell products.
The feedback both from the innovators and interested parties was phenomenal and brought to light just how important and on demand innovative creations are. From software and mobile App creators to device and systems innovators, the response was the same, there is a great need to expose these brilliant individuals more. Innovators at Plugged 2011 demonstrated that they have the intellectual and creative capacity to create scalable solutions that will shape the future of Africa. In 2012 Plugged Digital expo has set aside an entire zone purely for App developers and Innovators - The Innovators Pavilion. For innovators this is a section that gives you the opportunity to showcase your innovations to preselected investors and funding groups as well as consumers and journalists.
Plugged Digital would like to invite all innovators with a ready product to submit a brief on it to email@example.com to be considered for inclusion in the Innovator’s Pavilion exhibit at Plugged Digital Expo 2012.
