The 4th Entrepreneurship Forum will be held this coming Saturday, 23rd from 10am to 1pm
at the iHub. The speaker will be Mr. Paul Muthaura, acting Chief Executive of the Capital Markets Authority, discussing real estate investment trusts and the opportunities in Kenya’s KES 2.5 trillion securities exchange market.
Over the past 3 or 4 months, Dr. Bitange Ndemo has hosted a series of entrepreneurship talks, pulling in experts from different sectors to highlight the opportunities in their industries. Dr Ndemo is a senior lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s School of Business and former Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology.
Some of his speakers have included the team from Kipya - Africa Drilling Solutions who gave an in depth look at the oil drilling and extraction value- chain. Led by Dr Gathuru Mburu, the team unpacked the opportunities in the oil and gas industry in Kenya and Dr. Kamau of the University of Nairobi’s Fablab who explored the opportunity in hardware development.
The forum is a great opportunity to network with professionals from different industries and gives brilliant insights into opportunities for entrepreneurs.
