Open Session with David, Microsoft: How to scale your business beyond borders


iHub Research would like to invite you to an open session with David Lupafya, Principal IT Architect at Microsoft. This session will take place at the iHub UX LAB, Ground floor, Bishop Magua building, Thursday, 13th March from 2pm-3.30pm.
If you are an entrepreneur working in e-commerce or financial sector and are interested in getting ideas on how to expand and scale your business this will be a good opportunity to interact with David who has extensive experience growing young ventures into successful businesses.

David Lupafya Bio

Principal IT Architect with Microsoft USA with 20 years IT management and technical experience in mobile, SME and enterprise environments combined with proven business acumen spanning marketing, sales, finance, and legal to provide invaluable strategic insights and ensure rapid, competitive, commercially viable deployment in settings where time to market is critical.  Substantial cross-cultural and international experience managing and deploying various types of enterprise class wireless and cloud technologies, throughout Africa, Americas, Europe, and Asia/Pacific Rim.

Anne Salim studies the growth of African mobile-based education with a focus on the sustainable use of technologies in schools. Anne is currently a researcher at iHub, where she leads the program on M-Governance. The study has focused on the role of mobile devices for enhancing transparency in governance of the water sector. Anne studied Business Information Technology from Strathmore University and her interests include applying Design Thinking processes to Kenya, as well as facilitating Hackathon events.
