Reintroducing iHub Consulting
What does iHub Consulting do? Well, as the name suggests, consulting, but what does that mean? Specifically what does that mean for you as part of the iHub Community? There has always been some mystery surrounding iHub Consulting. Somehow, the “what we do” has been lost in the long and elaborate explanations. For this reason, this January, we would like to reintroduce ourselves.
iHub Consulting is an initiative of the iHub that aims to improve the community’s skills and to expose them to larger client projects which freelancers and small software companies would not have access to on their own. iHub Consulting maintains a pool of consultants (individuals and companies): developers, creative, quality assurance and project managers. We then look for projects, build a team to carry out the project and coordinate the implementation process. At the end of project, we conduct peer and client reviews. The client and peer reviews are used to improve on our processes. To complement this Consulting carries out training based around the needs in the community. Our next training session is on the 11th of February (read more here).
If all this seems like something you’d be interested in hearing more about, please join us on January 29th, 2014, 6:00 PM to 7.30pm at the iHub, to learn more about what we do and how you could plug in.
