iHub Tech Community Hangout Sessions
The iHub, together with global experts drawn from Google will host regular Wednesday Q&A sessions and invites the tech community to live interactive meet-ups.
What?
The tech community plugs in to a pool of Google experts to improve soft skills.
Why?
Clients and employers have noted with concern that the tech community, while gurus in their field of design, development, networking…among others, are struggling with soft skills such as team management, customer relations, quality assurance, project management, budgeting, negotiation and writing skills.
The iHub, together with global experts drawn from Google will host regular Wednesday Q&A sessions and invites the tech community to live interactive meet-ups.
How?
If you’re a techpreneur or techie, join in these sessions from 5:30pm – 6:00pm every Wednesday, at the m:Lab boardroom, 3rd Floor, or join in Live from wherever you are, via Google Hangout. Throughout the week, you can also send in questions or ideas you’d like covered here.
This Wednesday, we’ll be talking about: focusing on the customer (a commercial customer/buyer).
Under this, we’ll cover:
- Understand the customer experience
- Develop customer insights
- Building a customer-centric culture
- Diffuse customer learning in the organization: meetings, records
- Sources of customer satisfaction/brand personality
Post your questions at: http://www.google.com/moderator/#16/e=2012c6
All you need is a laptop, a pair of earphones, (possibly) a webcam, a Google+ account (get one for free here) – and an open mind!
