Nairobi Start-Up Pitch Night 2 | September 19th 2012 | iHub
Following a great event last month, the second edition of Nairobi Start-Up Pitch Nights is back on this Wednesday 19th September from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the iHub.
Nairobi Start-Up Pitch Night is a (free) regular event where 5 startups of all stages and industries get to pitch. The event brings together investors, advisors, students, business leaders, successful and aspiring entrepreneurs, and anyone who loves startups. The Startup Nights will be held every 3rd Wednesday of the month. More information here.
The first edition of Nairobi Start-up Pitch Night held at the iHub had an overwhelming response from the audience to the start-ups who pitched their ideas. We had 6 companies from prototypes to some that have rolled out operation already. Listed below are these start-ups that vary from Water, Finance, F&B, Transport, Gaming and Online Discount Store fields:
There was positive feedback for the start-ups with people interested in finding out more about the companies that pitched. Banki Ya Maji, for example, has been pre-selected as a finalist in the Enablis Growing IT entrepreneurs competition, and also has two interested partners from the audience at the 1st Nairobi Start-up Pitch night.
With the second edition coming up this Wednesday, we encourage Start-ups to participate in this monthly event that will prove very resourceful for their respective businesses.”
