Where are U in UX?
How would you design and implement courseware for students who have suffered brain injuries? Or a mobile interface for busy people to track their blog entries on the website of a Kenyan social movement? Bridget McGraw has been creating interactive digital media since 1992 and will chronicle how “user experience” or UX has been at the core of her work as information architect, instructional designer, web designer and technical advisor.
ICT4D , Research for development, Research and development, Research in development. We hear all these buzz words everyday but what exactly do they mean? What is the importance of research? Or How important is it? We will hold a research workshop led by Jessica Colaco, iHub manager and ICT researcher, Angela Crandall part of the iHub research team and Shikoh Gitau a product development researcher with Google.
This month’s Akitachix Meet up will be held on April 16th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the iHub Nairobi. Please be seated by 1:30 p.m. Click here to register
